Snowflower crochet rug

This year I wanted to crochet a Christmas tree rug. After a lot of counting, calculating and frogging, the end result turned out quite well, I think.

As a little Christmas present for you, I want to share my pattern with you in a mini-CAL. Each Sunday of Advent, you'll get a little part of the pattern, starting on Sunday, November 27 and ending on Sunday, Desember 18. Miscellaneous remarks will be posted on November, 20.

November 20: Miscellaneous remarks

Materials:

♥ 10 - 13 skeins of DMC Natura Just Cotton XL, or 800-1100 meter of another super chunky yarn. Two strands of Drops Paris, is a good substitute. Just remember to double the amount of yarn. 

♥ 6 mm crochet hook

♥ Yarn needle

♥ Scissors

Gauge: 

10 x 10 cm = 12 dc x 6,5 rows

Measurements:

About 1 meter in diameter

Notes:

If you start a round with a dc, the first dc is replaced by ch3 or a Faux double crochet.
At the end of the round, ss in the 3rd ch, if you replaced the 1st dc with ch3.

Abbreviations: 

st = stitch

ch = chain

ss = slip stitch

sc = single crochet

dc = double crochet

ch-sp = chain space

rnd(s) = round(s)
